As a Jersey girl I love spending a day at the beach! And as a frugal mama, my very favorite beaches are those that are free. No beach tags required.
In New Jersey...
- The Wildwoods.
You've got North Wildwood. Wildwood (the epi-center of fun, where the boardwalk looms). And Wildwood Crest. All those beaches. All free!
- Atlantic City.
Casinos. Shows. Fine Dining. And free beaches!
- Cape May Point State Park.
Very low-key. But no lifeguards on duty, so swim at your own risk and watch your littles. Very quiet spot. Also free!
And in Delaware...(I have yet to check these out)
- Rehoboth Beach
- Dewey Beach
- Bethany Beach
